I knew Brother Peter from De La Salle in the 50's. Also my father Albro P. Michell, Sr. was friends with his brother Malcolm Ward (Bro. Jasper) when they were boys at St. Paul's in Covington @ 1926 when they were 14.

He was my first home room teacher in F2. As a Freshman I can rember being impressed. A few years back he attended the reunion. He didn't remember me.

Brother Peter was my Algebra teacher, Freshman and Sophomore years at DeLaSalle High School in New Orleans. Excellent teacher with lots of humor but dedicated to making you learn. I learned from the obituary that he went to Mater Dolorosa Grammar School, the same one I attended. It was at MD that I was introduced to the Brothers in the eighth grade. We just had our DLS 66th Reunion on October 2, 2021 and the school set up a video where we could converse with him from his residence. That really makes this communication special.
