Thomas "J.T." Joseph Stewart's Obituary
Thomas Joseph “J.T.” Stewart passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born on Thursday, March 30, 1944 in Wiggins, MS to Nancy Lois Fairley and Oscar Harmon Stewart and has been a resident of Goodbee, LA since 1976. He retired in 2006 after 20 years as a Deputy with St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
The beloved husband of Brenda Scarlett Gottschalck Stewart, he is survived by three children - Kristopher Curtis Stewart, Rebekah Stewart and Laura Kolleen Stewart; four brothers - Gary, Bobby, Jerry and Allen Stewart; four grandchildren - Christian and Taylor Cannon, Scarlett and Amelia Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter - Leigh Ann Cannon; one brother - L.L. Stewart and his sister - Joyce Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 78273 Hwy 1077 Folsom, LA 70437.
Visiting hours at the Church on Monday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Bennett Cemetery in Folsom, LA will immediately follow services.
