Thomas Edward Baudean Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas Edward Baudean, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born in New Orleans, LA on November 2, 1939.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Janice Moreau Baudean; his children, Pamela and Michael Mender, Cynthia and Keith Geers, and Brian and Dawn Baudean; his grandchildren Charlene and Chris Hazen, Candace Geers, Devin Baudean, and Logan Baudean; and his great-grandchild, John Michael “Jack” Hazen. He is also survived by additional family and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was a humble man, a devoted husband, a proud father, an adoring grandfather and great-grandfather, and a loyal friend. As a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp, he reflected daily his strong will and clear sense of right and wrong. Seriously devoted to his family and friends, he was always ready to come to their aid or defense, and to provide them with a small joke to let them know he cared. He never met a task he could not master or a project that he was not up to tackling. Skilled at many hobbies and talents, he played guitar, took up farming, found great joy in maintaining his property, was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed true craftsmanship.
He will be dearly missed and continually cherished by all who knew and loved him.
