Theresa was the laugh of the party when she was our waiter. We never had a dull moment going to eat at the restaurant where she worked. She always had everyone at the table laughing and we would request to have her as our waitress. I am very saddened to learn that she passed away.
I always had hope that she would pull through this rough time at the end. she will be greatly missed by many. she had such a captivating personality!
Theresa was part of my Starbucks family. She was the person that made you laugh on your toughest days and brought a sense of joy to our store day in and day out. She was a work horse. Her work ethic was unmatched. I remember thinking our store would not be the same when she opened the restaurant and had to leave and we definitely changed that day. Later I would visit the restaurant and there was that magic, just as it was in our store. Flower in hair she was always laughing and joking with everyone and given the opportunity and if you were lucky enough, she would poke a little fun in your direction.
I will miss you Theresa and may that light in your eye shine on💜
When I was transferred to Starbucks in Covington, Theresa was the person selected to train me and I was so happy to work with her. She was the kindest and most patient trainer for this older lady, she always laughed with me, not at me. I was struck by her smile and her ability to make everyone feel they were needed. As I was a Katrina transplant from Chalmette, whenever I saw her over the years, she always had that smile that made me feel I belonged. Thank you, Theresa.
