Theresa Testa Bordelon's Obituary
Theresa Testa Bordelon passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Covington, LA where she was a resident since 1992. A native of Alexandria, LA, she was born on Monday, October 14, 1929 to Mary Anastasio and Steven Testa.
The beloved wife of the late Berton A. Bordelon, she is survived by two daughters - Marlene Studley and Susan Driskell; two sons - Ken and William Bordelon; one sister - Mary Jean Doiron; two brothers - Steve and Tommy Testa; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother - Samuel Testa; and grandson – Garrett Studley.
A graduate of White Castle High School, Theresa married and moved to Baton Rouge where she resided most of her life. She and Berton retired and moved to Covington in 1992. Theresa remained active after her husband’s death in 1997 and acted as a Eucharistic Minister while living at Rouquette Lodge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Friday will begin at 12:00 Noon.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carmelite Nuns, 73530 River Rd. Covington, LA 70435.
