Theresa Ann Horton Alba's Obituary
Theresa Ann Horton Alba of Covington, LA passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was born on March 7, 1959 in Converse, LA to James Albert Horton, Sr. and Vera Lucille Maddox Horton.
Theresa is survived by her beloved husband Thomas Joseph Alba and her son Thomas S. Alba. She is also survived by her siblings Carol H. Lambieg, James A. Horton, Jr., Janice H. Doré, and Marsha H. Spillman.
Theresa is preceded in death by her brothers Jerry Wayne Horton and Michael C. Horton and her parents.
Theresa was a graduate of Stonewall High in Stonewall, LA. After graduation she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Northeast Louisiana University. She was employed by Hershey Corporation for over a decade. She later earned her RN from Charity School of Nursing and began her nursing career at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, where she retired.
The family would like to thank Passages Hospice for all the love and care they provided for Theresa and family.
All services will be private. Inurnment will take place in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Theresa may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations can be made at https://alz.org/ or can be mailed to 225 N.
