So sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was a very special person. My Dad is living in Rogers, AR now. He remarried a few months after mother passed away in 2000 and moved to Rogers. He married Harriette Colvin Williams - you may remember her from church.
A flood of memories came to me as I read of Pon's passing. What a marvelous record of service she had! She was a wonderful lady who was very proud of her family. John, Ann Lynne and Sue: please know that you and your family have our deepest sympathy and respect. Bill Norman
God blessed Pon with many years of life, and she was such a blessing to everyone who had the great fortune to know her. She always had such a ready smile and soft words for her friends. I will personally miss her very much,and pray that her family will have peace in this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to all of Pon's family for your loss. She was such a special little lady whom I admired and enjoyed knowing through DAR. It was such fun talking with her and reading her biography from the newspaper about her service during the war. She will surely be missed by many. May God bring you comfort at this sad time. Pon was a very special lady. I was new to the area and she was always so nice to me in our chapter of the DAR. I was in awe of her serving in WWII, not many women did such things. She sacrificed and gave willingly to her country when it needed her most. For many years, Pon made sure the veterans got Christmas gifts, and encouraged me to participate with her. I will miss her greatly. May God bless Pon and may God bless her family.
