Terry Whateley's Obituary
Terry Whateley, age 53, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was born on July 2, 1972, in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Kacie Whateley; Mother, Georgene Harrison Whateley; He is also survived by his siblings, Pat Whateley , Vince Whateley, and Nieces Nova, Sophia, Gemma, and Nephew Kai, along with many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Charles Whateley Jr.
It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Terry Whateley, a man whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and connection to all who knew him.
Terry was truly a friend to everyone. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued, and accepted just as they were. He embraced the beauty in people’s differences and believed that every person had something meaningful to offer. Whether through a simple conversation, a shared laugh, or a moment of kindness, he left a lasting impression on countless lives.
He lived life with a joyful spirit and an appreciation for the good times. Terry loved to gather with friends and family, share stories, and create memories filled with laughter. His ability to bring people together and make any moment feel special will never be forgotten.
Above all, Terry will be remembered for his generous heart, contagious smile, his open mind, and the way he made others feel like they belonged. His legacy lives on in the many friendships he built and the love he gave so freely.
Though he may no longer be with us, the impact of his life will continue to be felt in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, with visitation beginning at 1:00 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, Memorial Service beginning at 3:00PM. Repass to follow.
