Terry Lynn Conaway Meyer's Obituary
Terry Lynn Conaway Meyer of Covington, LA died on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her mother and five children. She was born on November 13, 1961 in New Orleans, LA to Gene Raymond Conaway and Judy Casamento Conaway.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Judy Conaway; and her five beloved children Ryan Meyer and his wife Sarah; Matthew Meyer; Tyler Meyer; Megan Meyer Lawrence and her husband Michael; and Madeline Meyer. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Eleanor Meyer and Charlotte Meyer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gene Conaway.
She spent most of her life raising five wonderful children, driving them to sporting events, photographing every moment, and supporting them in every aspect of their lives. Whenever you saw Terry at a baseball game, you’d see her keeping the scorebook, photographing the baseball team, and in the meantime, keeping track of her other four children running around. Not only did she put her own family first, she also focused on putting the children of St. Tammany Parish first. She spent a total of 36 years between the Orleans Parish School Board and the St. Tammany Parish School Board, where she had many accomplishments and new programs she started. Terry had such a caring heart and always had a smile on her face. Her laugh was contagious. Her five children are a lasting testament to how great of a mother she was.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Terry’s life at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W 21st Ave, Covington LA 70433. Dr. Kenneth Schroeder will be officiating.
