Although I left St. Tammany, and the Sheriff's office, after Katrina, I remember Crouch well.
He was a role model for many of our younger deputies, as his calm demeanor, and good moral compass, showed you could be a cop, without losing your humanity.
I always enjoyed his company, and his amazing good humor. He always smiled.
To his family, thank you for sharing a good man with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office. We appreciated him.
