Terri Lee Sanders' Obituary
Terri Lee Sanders passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 15, 1956 and was a resident of Covington for over 30 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Cherie Sanders Moore (Keith) and Gary J. Sanders, Jr.; and her grandson, Brantley Moore. She is also survived by her siblings, Tracey Garland (Danny) and Johnny Rivers; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary J. Sanders, Sr.; her parents Eunice Elizabeth Bergeron Elfer and Herman Alfred Elfer, Sr.; her siblings, Sharleen Rumore, Herman Elfer, Jr.(Sue), Whitney Elfer and Wayne Elfer (Pam); father-in-law, John W. Sanders and mother-in-law, Cora Lee Sanders.
Terri enjoyed keeping her yard in perfect condition with everyone taking notice and commenting on how beautiful it was. She loved decorating inside and outside for the holidays. Her grandson, Brantley, was the most precious thing in the world to her. She loved spending all of her time with him.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Terri may be made to the Leukemia Foundation at MD Anderson in Houston, TX .
