Tabitha Anne McLindon passed away peacefully on Monday April 18, 2011. She was 12 years old and a native of Bush, Louisiana. Tabitha was in the 6th grade at Lee Road Junior High and is the beloved daughter of Rebecca Dunaway McLi Read Obituary

Tabbi, You have touched, changed and made so many lives better because you are you. I am so thankful to have met you. Hailey and Maddi are stronger because of you. You have been such a wonderful friend to them. You have so many amazing qualities about you and I loved all the things your uncle said about you yesterday. He seemed to capture your Tabbiness so well. You are so much to so many people. I remember being scared the first time I watched Hailey climb the tree to go on the zip line, you looked at me and said, "It will be ok" You made me laugh but right there was that confidence I loved about you. Your love of the guitar and music sparked the interest in Hailey and Maddie to get guitars.Thanks for teaching them how to play and for having such a wonderful impact on their lives. You are so missed and loved. Until we see you again sweetie...Love you!!

April 23, 2011 on this beautiful day friends and family gathered together for a memorial to you Tabitha at Liverpool Riding Club. Duncan and your Mom escorted your horse "Sparkey Joe" into the arena and every horseman rode in behind Sparkey Joe, some doubled up on horse back to honor one of the greatest riders and teacher "Tabitah Mclindon",

(3/3)Tabitha also was a very strong person. Such as getting hit with paint balls at Paintball Command, if she got hit all she would say is," Oh I got hit, I have to go tag back in." She was very creative. If there is something little you would be thinking about such as jumping on the couch in the living room, she would say oh well why don't we act like there is lava on the ground, and the next thing you know you are hoping all around the room! I know everyone will miss Tabbi and think well, why did this happen to her, but the good thing is is that this was her plan from God. We know that God needed her for something and it was her time. We just have to remember that Tabbi wouldn't want us to be sad about her death, she would want us to remember all the good things. She would also want you to continue on everything you were doing before. So if you ever feel down then think about all the good times and how happy she was down here. You can also remember that you will be up in Heaven with her one day. You also have a bunch of Youtube videos that she had made with her using her wonderful talents, I know I will be watching them every time I am down. Love and miss you Tabbi!!! You were like a sister to me. Love you!:)
(2/3) I have known Tabitha for about a year or so. Even though that's not very long i really got close to her. I still remember the first time i went to her house the first night, that was pretty awesome. Tabitha also taught me how to play the guitar. She didn't teach me much but I am really happy she taught me some. Before I even knew Tabbi I didn't have any interest what so ever in the guitar until she showed me what she could do. Tabitha also helped me on her zipline that they had made. She was also very interesting. You would never know what her next move was. If there was a time where a person was with Tabitha and you both got hurt she would care about you more than herself. Tabitha was also a very non-selfish person. In fact she is probably the most non-selfish person I have EVER known.
(1/3) Tabitha Anne McLindon was such a fantastic young lady. She was such an inspirational person. She did so many activities... playing the guitar, in honor band with her baratone, and she even tried out for talented music. Tabbi was an outstanding person. She was one of the people that i looked up to the most. Tabbi was also very courageous, if there was someone who didn't want to do anything but she did she would either make them do it, haha or if they were way to scared she wouldn't go. She was also a very wise person. If you needed to know something about an injury, for example, you have a cut and didn't know what to do she would know like everything.
