Sylvia Ann Valentino's Obituary
Sylvia Ann Valentino entered life March 24, 1950 entered Eternal Life July 24, 2018.
Sylvia Ann Valentino was born in New Orleans, LA, the oldest of 4 children. She enjoyed the quiet moments of reading her Bible and working crossword puzzles. She was a huge lover of animals, her cats being her babies and later grandbabies. Sylvia was also an avid sports fan cheering on her favorite football teams (LSU, Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and her all-time favorite Buffalo Bills) as well as hockey (Buffalo Sabers.) She was always putting others before herself and was concerned about their care. She had survived a stroke thirty years ago as well as cancer and even being hit by a car while walking across a street.
She is preceded in death by her mother Sue Valentino, her father Louis Valentino, her brothers Ken and Steve Valentino.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Valentino and her son and daughter in law Michael and JoBeth Valentino. She is also survived by numerous cousins.
It is most likely that when Sylvia got to the Pearly Gates her first stop was the Rainbow Bridge where she was greeted by the multitudes of fur babies who had long since earned their wings. She now has her own wings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM.
