Sylvia Waguespack Ritter's Obituary
Sylvia Waguespack Ritter, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Folsom, Louisiana on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was born on September 24, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is reunited in Heaven with her son, Mark Ritter, and grandson, Jeremy Haydel.
She was the beloved wife to her husband of 57 years, Roy T. Ritter, Jr, and the loving mother of Roy “Skip” T. Ritter, III (Janice), and Jeanne Marie R. Rovira (Steve) and the late Mark Ritter. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ritter was the daughter of the late George Joseph Waguespack, Sr., and Theresa Ann Robert Waguespack; and, the sister of Velma W. Bridevaux, Leonard I. Waguespack, Sr., James A. Waguespack, Sr., Theresa W. Bishop and the late George J. Waguespack, Jr., and Edgar R. Waguespack, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433 on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 12:00 Noon, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
