Sylvia Van Osdell LeBlanc, 81, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2017 at Pontchartrain Health Care Center, with her loving husband at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Smith Van Osdell, Sr. and Myrtle Ya Read Obituary
Our thoughts and prayers extend to family and friends. Although we did not know Ms. Sylvia, I had the pleasure of working with her sweet, smart, and caring daughter Judy. Countless students have been impressed with the lessons of patience and kindness from Judy and therefore Ms. Sylvia should also be remembered for her awesome role as mother and mentor. -Gone but not forgotten.
We would like to extend our most sincere sympathy to Mr. Roy & Family. My parents, especially my dad, Al Winters was like a brother to her. We were always hearing such crazy stories about time spent at their house when we were little. She will be sadly missed by all !! May God Bless her Soul !! Kiss my dad for us............
