Suzanne Amelie Faure's Obituary
Suzanne Amelie Faure, loving and beloved daughter of Pierre and Marie Amelie LeBlanc Faure, passed away peacefully at the age of 59, in Covington, LA, on December 3, 2022. She was born in Houma, LA on November 7, 1963.
Suzanne spent most of her life in New Orleans where she graduated from Ursuline Academy. After she received a BS degree from Nicholls State University, she was employed by several companies, but really enjoyed her work at the Louisiana Museum Foundation the most, where she made many lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, Suzanne is survived by her brothers David Faure (Catherine) and Stephen Faure. She is also survived by her aunts Suzanne Barton (Bruce-deceased) and Jan-an Murphy (Richard-deceased), uncles Lynn LeBlanc (Mona Lee) and George Faure (deceased) (Margie), and the light of her life her nephew and godchild, Alexander Faure. She is also survived by many cousins and friends who have fond memories of sharing fun times with her. She was pre-deceased by her grandparents George and Edna Faure and Charles and Florence LeBlanc.
After moving to Covington in 2015 her new neighbors welcomed her with open arms and helped her on many occasions when she needed them. Perhaps the ones who will miss her the most are her furry friends coco and Bubba! Special thanks to the Neurology Department of the Ochsner Medical Center, the St. Tammany Cancer Center and the Hospice House-Slidell.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:30 AM until Mass time.
