Susan Danette Taylor's Obituary
Susan Danette Taylor, age 61, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was born on December 16, 1963, in Covington, Louisiana.
She is survived by her parents, Hugh Alton Taylor and Patricia Ann Bass Taylor; uncle, Fred Bass; niece, Meagan Taylor; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Mark Taylor.
Susan lived her entire life in Covington, Louisiana. She worked as a scheduling coordinator in the medical industry for many years. A longtime member of Shepherd’s Care Ministries, she deeply enjoyed serving in the children and music ministries throughout her life. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing but especially loved children. She is remembered for being very smart and having a wonderful personality.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Barker-McManus Memorial Cemetery, 79407 Lee Road, Covington, Louisiana.
