Chad, I will forever have in my heart a visual picture of contentment: "Sister Smooth Nickel" sitting on the swing in the carport on Riverland. Her kindness and humor were a true blessing. Not what we gain but what we give measures the worth of the life we live.
Carry On!

Sue, you were a great friend, but more than that you were an inspiration. You lived life with great strength, but also with compassion. You took time out of your busy days and many tough personal challenges to smile and reach out to others in need. You never forgot where we came from and who your friends were. You are a true 9th. ward gal.
As a wife to Herman and mother to Chad, no other woman could have loved or done a better job. Sue Kreger Delery, you lived your time on this earth as God intended. Your memory and spirit will live with us for ever as Chad carries on the Delery legacy.
To Chad; you are blessed to have had two great parents. Right now you are hurting. However, if you remember the good things and good times you spent with dad and mom, and live your life in the manner in which they have taught you things will get better. As it is planned, they are once again together in the presence of their creator. I know they will be watch down on you so continue to make them proud.
Sue may you now live in peace and without pain. With Linda and my deepest love, rest in peace.
I pray for Sue that she is at peace. May God grant those who love and miss her the graces to deal with her passing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue's family during this most difficult time. She was a wonderful, generous, caring friend of over 20 years and she will be missed by all who knew her. We still can't believe she's gone -- may Sue find peace in Heaven and be reunited with her dear husband Herman.

I am trying to come to terms with the thought of losing a wonderful friend, and the only thing that gives me comfort is knowing she is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Herman in the likeness of God.
