Sue Ellen Mayberry's Obituary
Sue Ellen Sellers Mayberry passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 surrounded by family at her home in Mandeville, LA. She was born on April 21, 1943 in Bogalusa, LA to the late Norman Sellers and Leda Pearson Sellers.
Sue Ellen was the beloved wife of Richard Gary Mayberry for 54 years. She was the loving mother of Susan Mayberry Jones (Miles), Troy Mayberry (Michele), and Kelly Mayberry Clark (Donald). Sue Ellen was the proud grandmother of Kayla Dragg (Robert), Kaitlyn Clark, Aidan Jones, Parker Mayberry, Logan Mayberry, and Peyton Mayberry; great-grandmother of Harper Ellen Dragg.
Sue Ellen was the owner of a business in Jefferson, LA, a former schoolteacher in Kenner, LA, a former President of the Beau Chene Garden Club, a former member of Mandeville Republican Women’s Club, she truly loved going to Pilates at Franco’s Athletic Club which allowed her to make long-lasting friendships, and loved her fur babies, Ruby and Bella.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Privately by the family at Hillview Memorial Gardens, 59647 Spring Valley Rd., Bogalusa, LA 70427. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northshore Humane Society, www.northshorehumane.org, (985) 892-7387.
