Sue McDavitt Freeswick's Obituary
Sue McDavitt Freeswick passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Mandeville, LA. She was born in 1946 in Oceanside, CA to the late Thomas Lee McDavitt and Evelyn Purser McDavitt.
Sue was married to her beloved husband, Douglas J. Freeswick, Sr. for 50 wonderful years. She was the loving mother of Douglas J. Freeswick, Jr. (Stephenie), Shannon F. Merritt (Michael), and Susan F. Polyderas (Peter). Sue was the proud grandmother of Justin, Kate, Reece, Avery, Quinn, Nolan, and Alexandra. She was the sister of Ray McDavitt, Betty Penick, Sherry Reeves, Houston McDavitt, and Robert McDavitt.
Sue was a graduate of McComb High School, McComb, MS. She graduated from Touro Infirmary School of Nursing, New Orleans, LA (RN) and Graceland University, Lamoni, IA (BSN). Sue founded Carelink Home Care Services in Metairie, LA.
