Steven Kenneth McCombs' Obituary
Steven McCombs passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Mandeville, LA. He was born on July 28, 1947 in Port Jervis, NY to the late Glenn McCombs and Winifred Allee McCombs.
Steven was married to his beloved wife, Jolene McCombs for 46 years and together they had one daughter, Shannon McCombs Howes (John). He was the devoted and loving grandfather of Allee Morris, Rylee Morris, and Kadee Howes. Steven was the brother of Glenda Slater (Michael).
Steven retired from the New Orleans Fire Department after 30 years of dedicated service.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Steven K.
