Steven Joseph Bonnet's Obituary
Steven Joseph Bonnet passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 45. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville for the past 11 years,
Steve is the beloved husband of Traci Richard Bonnet for 20 years, devoted father of Justin Mathew, Bryan Michael and Heather Marie Bonnet; devoted son of Lorraine Schmidt Douglas, husband Donald C., and James E. Bonnet. Loving brother of Beth Ann Norris, husband Don; brother-in-law of Karen and Tony Eller. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews: Blake and Tessa Norris and Ashley, Daniel Scott Eller and his father-in-law, Hank Richard.
A graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School in 1981, he was the Assistant Store Manager at Rouse’s Grocery Store in Mandeville. Steve and Traci have been foster parents in St. Tammany for 10 years and he cared so deeply for all his family and friends. His loving touch will be missed and cherished forever.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at St. Joseph Abbey will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a benefit account in the name of Steven J. Bonnet at any Whitney Bank.
