The love of my life that got away. I'm heartbroken that Steve passed so young. We found each other again on Facebook in 2017 and were enjoying reminiscing about our lives when he suddenly dropped off the radar. Now I know why. My love and condolences to you, Trudy and to Cheryl and family. I know it's been a couple of years, I'm sorry I didn't know sooner. I'd have loved to attend his services. Steve was a very special man.

Steve lived across from us in Galliano. He was such a kindhearted person that smiled with so much love in his heart. He, my husband and I would often talk to him when he and his family were visiting his parents. We always parted hugging, shaking hands, and looking forward to his next visit.

Words are never enough during a time like this. I am so very saddened to even be writing this. Life is so short! I have many fond memories of Steve growing up, but the main ones are of his kind gentle nature. Besides the fact that he was such a handsome guy, he always had such a sweet spirit about him. I’ve wished many times that we could have spent so much more time together & now all we have are memories. I am so thankful to know that someday we will visit again & never have to say goodbye.

Our precious nephew - Steve, was a jewel-a short time here on earth,but truly loved by his family. Steve was a christian and knew his LORD JESUS as his personal Savior - and we will see him again real soon in Heaven. Until we meet again our LORD will take amazing care of him and all troubles and sorrows here on earth is over, Steve is rejoicing, singing Amazing Grace and walking with JESUS down the street of Gold! We love you sweet man - Go rest High on that Mountain! To his awesome family we send our love, prayers,sympathy and best wishes - asking our HEAVENLY FATHER to wrap his healing arms around all of you and give you a peace that only He can give - granting more GRACE and MERCY to meet your every need - LOVE each and every one. STEVEN and I were not only classmates, but neighbors in our elementary years. As all new students coming to a new school, he and his sister, must have been scared. While there were a few ribbings I am sure, after a while it was like he had always been there. I remember one afternoon, Cheryl playing us the Alice Cooper album where someone says ,"Steven, Steven where are you" She said it was always her fear that she would not know where her little brother was.. So My hears goes out to everyone, no words can make it better, knowing so many loved him and Trudy hopefully gives comfort. Love to all. May you rest in peace, Steven!
