Stacey Madere Henry's Obituary
Stacey Madere Henry went to heaven on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the age of 56.
Loving mother of Jamie Henry Rhoto (Anthony), April Henry Alford (Bud) and Elizabeth Erin Henry. Survived by the father of her children and friend, Jack Henry Jr.. Daughter of the late Brenda Loupe Maurin and Ellis Madere. Sister of Vanessa Crenshaw, Melanie Madere and Wanda Cashio. An amazing grandmother to Anthony, Jr., Aiden, Christian and Aaron.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree from SLU in 1993. Later in life she found her true calling as special education teacher at Independence Magnet School. She found joy and fulfillment in going to work everyday to teach children who needed more love, support, and understanding. She filled her soul through music, flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Relatives and friends (COVID-19 masks and 50 guest restrictions apply) are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey.
In lieu of flowers sending flowers to the funeral home, the family requests that you send flowers to someone special in memory of Ms. Henry whose love and appreciation of flowers was unmatched.
