Sophie Mindel Dent's Obituary
Sophie Mindel Dent passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006. She was born Sept. 4, 1917, a native of Washington, D.C. and a resident of Madisonville, LA since 1974. She is survived by one brother, Herbert Mindel, District Heights, MD. Mother of William L. Dent of Covington and Allen R. Dent of St. Amant, LA. Grandmother of Kim Karrick, Dana Bryan, Loretta Moody and Calvin Dent. Also survived by five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 West 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, March 3, 2006 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM in Theodore-Dendinger Cemetery, Madisonville, LA. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial remembrances to be sent to St. Tammany Host for Hospice, 1202 South Tyler Covington, LA, 70433.
