Shirley Stanworth's Obituary
Shirley Stanworth, at the age of 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1943 in Stockton on Tees, England.
She is survived by her children, Paul Stanworth (Amy) and Kelly Arms (Sean); grand children, Alexis, Keegan, Baylor, Delaney and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, David Stanworth; her parents, Jane Elizabeth and Matthew Sedgewick.
Shirley loved to sing, dance, and but most of all share her love and zest of life with everyone. She would entertain sold out shows with her amazing acting ability and singing voice in the theater group when she was still living in England. Her favorite song to share with everyone was “Friends and Neighbors”. Shirley and David loved to entertain at their home in Mandeville for July 4th, Saints games, World Cup playoffs and especially New Years Eve. Shirley never met a stranger, loved big and laughed loud, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will truly be missed by all.
