Shirley Anne Place's Obituary
Shirley Anne Steiner Place, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.
Beloved wife of 20 years to Morris C Place, Jr.; mother to Michael Ojala, Morris C Place, III and Dr. Laura Place; grandmother of Casey and Kelli Place; and sister to Tom Steiner and Nance Engel.
Age 66 years, a native of Armada, Michigan and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 18 years. Shirley attended Michigan State University and was a school teacher for some 15 years. She was a member of PEO Women’s Organization.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Drive, Mandeville, LA 70471.
Visitation at the church on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Graveside services will be on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Van-Hoosen Jones Stoney Creek Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan.
