Shirley Clara Organ, age 83 of Mandeville, LA died on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA surrounded by her family. Born, Saturday, October 28, 1933 in New Orleans.
Survived by her Son - Walter Organ (Irene), Daughter - Elizabeth Davis, Granddaughters - Kristen Organ Pepe (Joseph), Celeste Organ West (John), Grandsons - Jonathan Davis, Thomas Organ, Great Granddaughter - Emersyn Pepe, Great Grandsons - Jude Pepe, and Lucas Pepe. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her Husband - George E. Organ, Father- Jacob Meyer, Sr., Mother - Edith Courcier Meyer, Sister - Grace M. Barrosse, and Brother - Jacob Meyer, Jr.
She was an active member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mandeville. She loved Mardi Gras and was a member of several Mardi Gras organizations. She was devoted to her family and was caretaker and babysitter for many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 2480 Hwy 190 East Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation on Saturday from 9:00 AM to service time.
Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Chalmette, LA.
