We lost one of the best people I’ve ever known. He wasn’t just our neighbor he was family. For years, he looked out for us, always cutting our grass before we could get to it, making us laugh, and just being the kind of person everyone wishes they had next door.
He and Mimi were more than neighbors; they were our extended family. They were our inspiration to be Disney fans! When we took our first trip to Disney with Camryn, he actually hand-wrote a list of practically every exit along the interstate — where we could stop for food, gas, and diaper changes. That was just who he was — thoughtful, funny, and always looking out for others.
We ended up sharing so many Disney trips together sometimes planned, sometimes totally by surprise afinding the two of them waiting for us in our hotel lobby. Every single visit was filled with laughter. Cam loved going next door to swing, and get accused of using all of his toilet paper! He loved teasing me about my “iced coffee,” insisting it was more than just coffee!!
He was one of those people who made life lighter, funnier, and just better. I know he’s in heaven now with Eddie, Mimi, and Codey . I know he’s watching over all of us along with them.
We’ll miss you so much. ❤️
