Shelba Jean Gokey, age 74 of Abita Springs, LA died on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. Born, Sunday, July 26, 1942 in Rome , NY to Clarence Dodd Robinson and Elenor LaBrake Robinson.
Survived by her Sons - Michael Gokey, Gregory Empey (Lynn), Grandsons - Kyle Empey, Connor Empey, Kole Parr, Ryan Parr, Logan Smith, Granddaughter - Katherine Empey, Sisters - Linda Robinson, Loma Koscienski, Donna Shoen, Victoria Owen, Lisa Shahrpass, Brothers - Francis Jarvis, Joseph LaBarake, and John LaBrake.
She was predeceased by her Parents, and Daughters - Kristin Elizabeth Smith, and Johnna MacDonald.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2017 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Monday from 1:00 PM to service time.
