Sheila Marie Holliday Coyne's Obituary
Sheila Marie Holliday Coyne left this earth and gained her wings on July 6, 2023 at 2:03 PM in the care of her beloved sister, Theresa Coyne. She was born in Covington, La on November 20, 1956 to Ernest Earl Holliday Jr. and Gladys Theresa Lane Holliday. She is survived by her children, Aaron Wayne Coyne (Tifani) and Alicia Coyne Apperson (Mark); stepchildren, Henry III Ragas (Reanna) and Monique Ragas; grandchildren, Gabrielle Delgado (Zachary), Chrislyn Chaffin (Brian), Gracie Coyne and Bradley Coyne. She was also graced with the news of baby boy Delgado arriving in December 2023, her 1st great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest Earl Jr Holliday and Gladys Theresa Lane Holliday.
Sheila was a dedicated nurse for over 40 years, graduating at the top of her class in 1977 from the University of Texas. She eventually settled in Ponchatoula, La although her favorite pastime was to travel and go. Her family meant everything to her. Our annual trips planned by her always brought family back together, regardless of where we called home, for memories that will last a lifetime. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in her heavenly home in the arms of our father. We love you MiMi!
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by St. Catherine’s Hospice.
