Sharon, I know your spirit is still with us and will always be with us. You are my sister-in-law but I think of you as my sister. Steve could have no better wife and Tanner and Mason no better mother. I will miss seeing you on the holidays and miss your wonderful smile and fun spirt. I still carry the purse you gave me several years ago, and I think of you each time I wear the jewelry you made for us. Laurel was so upset when Sarah and I came to Louisiana, because she wanted to come too and tell you what a special aunt you are to her. Save us a place in heaven and hug Mama D for us. Love, Melanie

I have known the Smith's for a very long time and know the bond that the whole family shares. It is a sad day indeed to know that one will missed at such a young age. I am so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She was my daughter, Maison's speech therapist and we came to love her. My little girl just beemed every time she came to the house and Sharon called several times to check on Maison even after she had to quit seeing her for therapy.
