The last and most prominent compliment my Grandpa gave me was when I was looking through old pictures and found some 90's glamour shots of my older sisters. He asked why I'd been looking over them for so long, and I replied that I was searching for the worst one to threaten them with.
He laughed so hard he could barely breathe, and told me I had a "heart of gold."
Another loss for the Trusso family.
My condolences. The Trusso family has always been a second family to me, especially in my years before my Mother passed.

I must've been pretty bad when I was first learning to drive, because Dad only took me out driving once and even Noon could only stand one trip. As time was running out on my learner's permit, Bud took me out in downtown, rush hour traffic in Columbus a couple times and just sat in the passenger seat and let me drive - horns honking, getting cut off by a transit bus, cabs tailgating - he just had me drive. My confidence just soared after that and I spent a lot of years driving all over the eastern U.S, and Canada. I will always be grateful to Bud for giving me my "driving wings". Joey
