Sean Frantz Garlick, age 20, of Bush, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. He was born on February 9, 2004, in Covington, Louisiana, to Tim and Gayle Garlick. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas J. Kelley, Joan A. Read Obituary
Sean was an amazing young man. Norman and I are blessed to have been a part of his life since he was young. We are so proud of all of his accomplishments and we loved him very much. We are so thankful that he entrusted Snickers to our care and we enjoyed having her stay with us while he was at St. Jude’s. He taught us so much about being courageous and having deep faith in God. We are here if you need anything.
Sean was a very polite and brilliant young man. During the annual Troop 110 camping trip, Sean was always smiling and very helpful with the work details. At night around the camp fire Sean and his fellow scouts would roast marshmallows and play instruments and make up music. He will be missed but never forgotten! God-speed!
I had the honor to teach Sean in both 5 the and 6th grades. He always blessed the classroom with intellectual prowess, keen witt, emotional maturity beyond his years, and a spiritual strength I have rarely encountered. Dear Sean, our Golden Boy, guide us to your light. Mrs. Sharon Brewster
