Sarah Poag Cannon's Obituary
Sarah Poag Cannon passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born on Friday, February 6, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, TN to Maxie Bishop and Clarence Poag and was a long time resident of Covington, LA before recently moving to Baton Rouge.
The beloved wife of the late Michael S. Cannon, she is survived by three sons - Hugh Michael, Bruce Reeves and Scott Poag Cannon; one brother - Joe Poag; eight grandchildren - Stacey, Melissa C., Melissa P., Tyler, Brittany, Sarah, Katie and Kool and six great grandchildren - Andrew, Aaron, Jordan, Sophia, Jase and Sarah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers - Charles and Dalcomb Poag.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Saturday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
