Sara Ann Latiolais' Obituary
Sara Ann Latiolais, of Mandeville, Louisiana entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday morning, January 21, 2023, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Anniston, Alabama to Ulysses Burnett and Flora Harris Burnett.
She is survived by her loving children Jon Latiolais and Kimberley L. Montalbano (A. J.) of Mandeville. Ann was the proud grandmother of Bobby Roden, Jr. (Christina), Jessica Roden, Leslie Kastner (Larry), Sarah Beth Latiolais, Stephanie Balderson (Bryce), Lauren Barrios (Rob), and Kasey Kuhn (Cameron), She was also the grandmother to numerous great and great-great grand children. Ann will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband James W. Latiolais of 48 years, her daughter Stacy L. Roden, grandson James Wesley Latiolais Roden, her parents Ulysses and Flora Burnett, and brother, Roy Lee Burnett.
A native of Alabama and proud resident of Mandeville for over 21years, Ann attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. She truly enjoyed her role as a devoted wife and mother to her adoring family.
Ann was a strong, loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. She exemplified being a true southern lady. She enjoyed the time outdoors fishing with Jim. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family and friends. Ann was unique and irreplaceable, a devoted caretaker, was well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memoires of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place privately at a later time.
