Where do I start? Ms. Shubert You are the ONLY teacher I've ever bonded with. Till this day and forever you are my favorite teacher I've ever had. I am truly Blessed to have had you as a teacher & even more Blessed to have been one of your students. Not only did you teach school lessons, you also taught life lessons. You will always play a role in my life and for that I thank you. You are truly missed & never forgotten. Condolences to your family, friends & students.
Sandy was a neighbor when I was growing up and one of my junior high school teachers. She will be missed. Prayers for comfort, peace, and strength for her family and friends at this difficult time.
Sandra was the best of the best !! Her love for teaching children , including my 3 girls at Abita Middle School was her passion and each child she taught with love and gave all she had to make them feel special . Sandra's passing is our loss ...Heaven's gain .. It was always a pleasure to be her class substitute teacher through the years ... as I would enter her class, I can still hear her say , " hey lady " and she would remind her students that I was her friend " now be on your best behavior ". I loved Sandra and treasured her as a friend .. God speed dear lady !! You have arrived at that Blessed Finish Line .
A wonderful woman and a teacher that touched the hearts of so many children. You will be missed on this Earth for the love that you shared with others.
Sandra and I taught together for 33 years. We bonded the moment we met. There are so many stories to share. One of my favorites, which Sandra and I laughed over for years, was when Mrs. Risher told her to start trying to make her lesson plans as good as mine. Sandra taught me how to do them on the computer, how to use a spreadsheet, how to move spreadsheet items and things around, etc. She brought me her lesson plans all full of yellow marker and everything that was wrong with them. We compared our lesson plans and they were virtually the same except for page numbers.
We started to laugh. Sandra taught me anything new that came in her meetings or something she had seen.
I love you Sandra and will miss our 1:00 a.m. meetings on the internet. You are truly a great friend. No one who ever met you will ever forget you.
