Sandra Nicholai Guerra's Obituary
Sandra Nicholai Guerra passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Covington, LA. She was born on February 5, 1953 in Pensacola, FL to the late Emilio Coy Guerra and Maria Cruz Gonzales Guerra Blocker. Step-daughter to the late Darvin Leroy Blocker.
Sandra was the loving mother of Dana C. Burkart (Gerald) and Daniel P. Cavalier (Trisha). Sandra was the proud grandmother of Kyle Burkart, Jena Burkart, Haley Cavalier, Sayde Cavalier, and Carley Cavalier. She was the sister of Dela Guerra, Yolanda Guerra, Carlos Guerra, Mario Guerra, and Samuel Guerra. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In her spare time her passions included interior decorating and being crafty but she always made time for a good movie. She had a spunky attitude, a smile that could brighten any room and she’s never met a stranger.
Her strength and faithfulness to God, and her love and devotion to her family and friends is a testament to the special lady she was. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Please Share a Memory on the Tribute Wall at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
