Sandra Ann Cancienne's Obituary
Sandra Ann Cancienne passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Covington, LA. She was born on July 15, 1947 in New Orleans, LA to the late Warren and Rose Loyacano Valley.
Sandra married Edward Cancienne in 1965 and together they had two children, Lisa C. Nunez (Freddy) and Dina C. Nunez (Gary). She will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren, Amanda N. West (Tim), Blake (Randi), Zachary, Boomer, Kyle (Ashley), and Trey; and four great grandchildren, Jillian and John Paul West, and Aubrey and Austyn Nunez. Sandra was the sister of Eileen V. Gettys and the late Lana V. Estopinal. She is survived by her aunts, Maxine Hotard and Verna Loyacano, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to offer special thanks to Karen Serpas for her caring and devotion.
Sandra dedicated herself to loving and raising her family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, August 1, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Sandra A.
