As were all of her friends and family, we were certainly shocked to hear of Sandra's sudden passing. She will always be remembered by us as a quiet, faithful servant. Never sharing whatever difficulties she might be going through. I remember on numerous occasions her lifting up in corporate prayer time the need to pray for those who did not know Christ. She certainly lived as one who DID know Him. This was also evidenced by her concern for children, for her openness to new ideas and technology, and willingness to serve. She will be sorely missed by many, including us.
I met Sandra at Louisiana Presbyterian Cursillo. She was such a joy. I only had the pleasure of spending time with her briefly, but she won my heart over with ease. She was an amazing, kind, and loving woman with a friendly smile and the eyes of Christ. She will be greatly missed. I am so very sorry for your loss. My world is better because she was in it.
With great sympathy, Monica Alsup
Sandra was supportive of anyone who needed help. She was always so willing to substitute for me when I went on vacation. Not just willing, but so sweet about it. She was so intelligent - we all at CPC relied on her for computer help. Above all, we share in your grief and already miss her so much.
I will miss Sandra and the kindness and gentleness she expressed. I look forward to seeing again someday!
Although we have never met, I am deeply saddened by your loss. We all are touched by the loss of a loved one. Please know that God will be with you to comfort and soothe your heart. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. Always remember the promises found in His Holy Word. Please accept my sincere condolences.
My sincere sympathy to Sandra's family on her death. She went quickly, which was easy on her, but so diffucult for those left behind.
She was always there to help with whatever needed to be done.
We will always remember her cream puffs.
