Steve, Sam and family? We are sorry for the loss of your Father. He was an incredible man who also served our country with pride and distinction.

My condolences to the family of Col. Sam Pizzo. I knew Sam and occasionally lunched with him while employed at Lykes Bros Steamship Co. in New Orleans. He was a true gentleman and humble of his prestigious USAF background. Thank you for outlining his contributions to our nation. We need more of him. I wish to bid him a fond final flight.
Respectfully,
V. Frank Colangelo, ex USAF, Navigator
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pizzo family.

His book "As Good as it Gets" written by a man of many hats says it all.
Knowing him was an "as good as it gets" part of our lives!
