Sambath Sok's Obituary
Sambath Sok departed this life on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the age of 70. She was born on May 25, 1952 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia to the late Srang Chain and Sim Aeng. She was the beloved wife of Nan Nop.
She was a loving mother of Vandary Nop, Savry Nop and Mithona Nop. Sambath was the proud grandmother of Chanbormey Kim, Chanmonyneath Kim, Chandara Kim, Panharath Pich and Bophaphoung Pich.
She was known as a devoted Buddhist and active member in Buddhist temples. She resided in California, and had many hobbies, but she mainly loved traveling and seeing the world. She was also much of a family woman and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sambath Sok is preceded in death by her parents Srang Chain, and Sim Aeng and her 15 siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time.
