Dear Terri and family -- My deepest sorrow for your loss of Sam. I've thought of him often since we roomed together at LSU. He had a warm and engaging personality that created a lasting memory. In the years since, I have never spoken to Sam that he didn't refer pleasantly to you Terri, and your children. He seemed very happy and content with his life, and those are the hardest ones to let go. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you proceed without his strength.
