Sadie Sharp McClendon's Obituary
Sadie Sharp McClendon passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born in Waldheim, LA on June 16, 1927.
She is survived by her loving children, Sherrell McClendon Robinson (Jerry) and Paul David McClendon (Paula); her grandchildren, Richard Duggan, Jordan Duggan, Michelle Duggan and Emily Sharpe (Theodore) and Joey McClendon; great-grandchildren, Jaelynn Duggan, Jaxon Duggan and Linkon Sharpe. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. McClendon; her parents Annie Thomas Sharp and Percy Sharp; and siblings, Melvin E. Sharp, Clyde P. Sharp and Hezzie B. Sharp.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs.McClendon may be made to Francois Parc Assisted Living, 1604 S. Burnside Av e., Gonzales, LA 70737.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
