Ruth Mary Glisson Fischer's Obituary
Ruth Mary Glisson Fischer, beloved wife of the late Ernest L. Fischer, passed away April 2, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA. Mrs. Fischer worked for District Attorney James T. Burns for 20 years and later was co-founder of Fischer Exterminating Co. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Glisson, and sister of the late Ouida G. Fitzgerald, Margarette Glisson, James W. Glisson, Robert P. Glisson, Lucille Glisson, Edith G. Lovas, Naomi G. Charbonnet, and Frances G. Rowles. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, April 7, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday from 9:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
