I lost one of the most precious people in my life — someone who had been there for me since I was a child. She was more than an aunt. She was a mother figure, a best friend, and a confidant. No matter what, she always had my back. She understood the misunderstood, the cruelty of the world growing up, and helped me navigate it the best way she knew how.
Some of my greatest childhood memories were because of her — lavish trips, unforgettable adventures, and experiences most kids only dream of. She gave us a life full of memories, love, laughter, and joy when many didn’t have the means to experience those things.
She treated me as one of her own. She protected me, encouraged me to be unapologetically myself, and always reminded me to live life fully and love loudly. She was a giver, never a taker, and that’s one of the things I admired most about you, Aunt Ann.
I am forever grateful to be your nephew. I love you endlessly, and I know one day I’ll see you again Aunt Ann and we shall resume the party! 🤍
