Rudy Ralph Booth's Obituary
Rudy Ralph Booth passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born on April 2, 1965 in Covington, LA to the late Rudolph Ralph Booth and Hazel Elaine Barron Booth Cox.
Rudy was the loving Daddy and now guardian angel of Ain-Clair Blades (Clinton), Summer Booth, and Shelbi Booth (JP). He was the proud grandfather of Brice, Gracelynn, Rudy E Booth, Colton and Tyran. Rudy was the brother of Ivy Fauntleroy (the late Wendell), Melissa Grant (Kevin), and James Cox.
Rudy grew up in Folsom and attended Covington High School. His personality was larger than life from day one. He loved his friends, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved his girls and his grandchildren. When he wasn’t being the “Dishonorable Mayor of Ramsey” he was spending time with his family cooking at his house, riding the side by side with the kids, or teaching someone “the right way” to do something. He never met a stranger and “everybody loves Rudy!” Which was one of his favorite things to say. He helped more people than he’d ever admit to and that’s the way he liked it. He was so loved and we can now say, whole heartedly, he is finally “living the dream” watching over us.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Rudy’s name to Red Bluff Baptist Church, www.rbbclife.org.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 Hwy 1078, Folsom, LA 70437 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Allison Cemetery, Folsom, LA.
