Ruby Millet Scherer's Obituary
Ruby Millet Scherer passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Shelbyville, KY. She was born in Reserve, LA on July 7, 1920 to the late Edward and Caroline Weaver Millet and was a lifetime resident of Louisiana.
The beloved mother of Merrill Scherer (Sue), Marsha S. Licali (Don), Dexter Scherer (Cindy) and Bryan Scherer (Tammy), she is survived by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Larry Millet and her sister, Helen Lasseigne.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Wednesday at 9:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow services.
