Ruby Gail Gremillion's Obituary
Ruby Gail Gremillion passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 27, 2013.
Ruby – or as her family knew her Gail – was another victim of Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born in New Orleans on July 17, 1941 to the union of the late Clarence Cassaly and Alice Ledet. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Richard Gremillion.
She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially taking care of her beloved grandchildren Brandon Coco, Brittani Coco, Blair Gremillion, Blake Coco, and Megan Gremillion, and her great granddaughter Kaylee Coco.
Gail was not only a great grandma, but was an awesome cook for the family. She used her amazing cooking skills during family gatherings and she cooked as if she was cooking for an Army. She had a true love and understanding of God and his role in her life. She shared her beliefs in all people she came in contact with. She was a true servant to the Lord. Gail loved to sing and tell bible stories to her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her children Kathy and her husband Buddy Coco, Rick and his wife Laura Drummond Gremillion. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, who love her dearly, Jeanette Ducote and Carol Campbell, and sister-in-law, Betty Cassaly. She is joyfully reunited with the loved ones that preceded her: her mother and father, Clarence and Alice Cassaly, and her brother Jerry Cassaly.
