I knew Royce way back when he worked at The Mane Place we worked together and had a lot of mutual friends....... he was a hoot.... a wonderful hairdresser a flawless face, a laugh like no other.. To Royce's family please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts. Wishing you God's Peace. We will ALWAYS remember Royce.
I grew up with Royce. He worked with and for my mother for close to 10 years. He was like an uncle and he was the highlight of her salon all the years he was there as many of you who knew him the latter of his life. I have so many memories of him. I am so, so sorry he is gone. He had just contacted us again after so long- and now he is gone.
I am so happy to know his faith was so real in Jesus! I am also happy he is with his momma.

I just found out about this and am so sorry I did not come to the funeral. Royce was a wonderful man who has been cutting my hair for over 20 years now. He will be missed. My prayers go to your family. Royce, I will miss you!
I was shocked and hurt when I learned that Royce had passed away. He as a breath of fresh air and always so happy. He will leave a void in the lives of those who knew hinm that can never be filled. My very deepest condolences to Royce's family, and I do hope you all take some solace in knowing how dearing he was loved. Both of my daughters, Dianne Boland and Phyllis Bernard were long time clients of his, and I was a sporatic one, depending upon my daughters' availability to cart me back and forth from Abita Springs. Royce was a darling young man and it was very evident, at my age, that he had been brought up with respect for others and a very unselfish heart. I loved going to hair appointments, just to be in his company, because he was so entertaining and fun to be with. Older people really enjoy being with people like Royce, and I will miss that wonderful young man who never ceased to bring a smile to my face, or "light up the world", if I was having a bad day. I am so sorry we have all lost a wonderful friend and hair stylist. He had such a great sense of humor and was always so encouraging to others. Royce made me feel special and styled my hair for years. We are all saddened by his passing.
Please accept my thoughts and prayers in the loss of your loved one. I knew Royce as a bank customer for 14 years. Just recently I became a customer of his along with my daughter and my two grandaughters. I just had my hair done by Royce the Saturday before his passing. I have been one of Royce's loyal clients for over ten years now, following him from shop to shop. My heart goes out to his family, especially his Dad, and his two sisters, whom he loved dearly and spoke about often, as he did of his beloved mother, whose death still troubled him greatly.
Royce was such a special human being. He always had a smile on his face and truly seemed genuinely seemed happy to see each of his clients, and no one ever left the salon without a big hug from him.
I will forever miss my friend, my most talented hairdresser, the laughs I enjoyed while sitting in his chair, the kind and gentle heart this man possessed, and those great big hugs we were fortunate enough to receive after each haircut. No one will ever fill Royce's shoes--for Royce Hamilton is a hard act to follow, but I am truly grateful that he touched my life and because of him I am a better person. Rest in Peace, Sweet Royce. Royce was a sweetheart of a man that our family knew for over 20 years. He was always friendly and had a way of teasing everyone and making them feel truly special. We will always remember his laugh and infectious smile. He brightened our days and will be greatly, greatly missed. Our prayers and sympathy to his family.
